Community Involvement

Community Involvement at E2 Roofing

At E2 Roofing, service does not stop at the jobsite. Our roots in military service shape how we show up for our neighbors, fellow veterans, and local families. Roofing gives us a way to protect homes, and our community work gives us a way to support the people inside them.

From Military Service to Community Service

Our leadership spent years serving in the Army during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. That experience was a career of service, built on discipline, responsibility, and commitment to others. When that chapter ended, the desire to serve did not. E2 Roofing grew out of a simple idea: continue that same sense of duty here at home, one household at a time.

Today we see roofing as part of a much larger mission. Every project is an opportunity to look after a family, protect what they have built, and stand behind the work we do for them. That same mindset guides how we give back in our community and support those who have sacrificed for our country.

Supporting Wounded Veterans Through Building

Our sister company, Elizabeth Evans Custom Homes, partners with Homes for Our Troops, a nonprofit organization based in Massachusetts. Through this relationship, teams help build specially adapted homes across the country for disabled veterans from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. This work focuses on veterans who returned home with life-changing injuries and now need a home that fits their new reality.

Each home aims to restore everyday freedom inside the house. Wider doorways, open floor plans, and thoughtful layouts help veterans move through their space with less strain. When a veteran can maneuver around his or her home more easily, it changes the family’s daily life and outlook. We see this kind of building as a direct extension of our company’s purpose: use our skills to protect and support those who have already given so much.

Our connection to these projects is personal. As a veteran of the same conflicts, our leadership understands what it means to come home and adjust to a new normal. Helping create homes that return mobility and independence is one way we honor that shared experience and continue to serve the military community.

Service-Minded Work in Our Own Backyard

Community involvement for us starts with how we carry ourselves on every roof. We show respect for property, communicate clearly, and clean up carefully when we finish. We treat each home as if it were our own, because we know every address has a family and a story behind it.

Our veteran and woman ownership also informs how we run our team. We value integrity, follow-through, and accountability. Those values come from years of military training and from real-world experience juggling family, work, and service. When we work in a neighborhood, we aim to leave more than a new roof behind. We want homeowners to feel heard, cared for, and confident about the decisions they made with us.

How Our Values Show Up in the Community

Our community presence reflects the same principles that guide our roofing work and our involvement with Homes for Our Troops. We focus on practical ways to make life easier and safer for families and veterans around us.

  • We bring a service-first attitude to every project, from small repairs to full roof replacements.
  • We make time to explain options and pricing so homeowners can make informed choices without pressure.
  • We look for ways to reduce stress during major work, including small touches that make long, noisy days more manageable.

One example of that care is a simple but meaningful gesture: during roof replacements, we provide free doggy daycare. Construction noise and activity can be stressful for pets, and the risk of an open gate or stray nail in the yard can add to that worry. By giving homeowners a safe, no-cost option for their dogs during the project, we remove one more concern and help the whole household get through the process with less strain.

Continuing a Legacy of Service

For us, community involvement is not a side project or a marketing line. It is a continuation of a life spent in service. The same commitment that led our leadership to wear the uniform now guides how we show up on roofs, in neighborhoods, and on builds that support disabled veterans.

When you call E2 Roofing at (904) 441-6591, you reach a team that takes that legacy seriously. We measure our work not only by how a roof looks, but by how we serve the people under it. Whether we are helping a local homeowner through a repair or supporting a build for a wounded veteran, we carry the same promise: show up with integrity, work with care, and leave our community stronger than we found it.
